About Carr Winn
I was fortunate to start my career working in live television. It was $8 an hour, but it was a bootcamp in telling stories, current events and cultural diversity. Switching gears, I transitioned into editorial work, writing and editing for popular consumer publications at Petersen Publications. This was a great learning experience and it really enhanced my skills in both customer service and relationship management. I absolutely love collaborating with creative professionals, seeing a product come together, and the rush of thinking on my feet under tight deadlines. When projects have high visibility, it's rewarding to contribute to the team that helps get the wheels down, and then celebrate our accomplishments. When I’m not hard at work, I love to explore Southern California, experiment with vegan and vegetarian cooking, and let my son teach me about sports.
Listed skills include Marketing Communications, Copywriting, and Editorial Process.
