CurrentI work in the Customer Service Organization(CSO) as the HR Coordinator.As Disability Coordinator, I have supported employees and supervisors by communicating the guidelines of FMLA and STD and checking on the status of claims on vendor’s website and by calling. Also keep track of all WC claims and status. I keep a FMLA, STD, WC spreadsheet current and ensured that an updated copy was available for supervisors. I support Workforce Planning by posting positions in Taleo, coordinating interview schedules and processing paperwork for new hires, transfers and promotions. For new hires I process all background checks and drug screens in HireRight website. I verify all candidates pass background checks and enter all changes into Oracle. I conduct interviews via phone and face to face.Complete Texas Workforce Commission paperwork on ex-employees for hearings and I'm a company representative during hearing.Part of a team that creates and distributes quarterly newsletters. This newsletter has articles that are helpful and informative for all employees.I’m a member of the Safety Committee. Our goal as a committee is to heighten the awareness of safety for the organization now and in the future. Coordinate with external vendor for processing Contingent Workers including onboarding CWs, CW orientation, entering CWs in Oracle and tracking on spreadsheets.Support Human Resources organization by training new HR Coordinators on systems, daily tasks, FMLA, STD, WC, TWC paperwork, continued support as needs once coordinator is trained and working self-sufficiently.Have successfully brought in-house a vendor to complete monthly random drug screens and new hire screenings. This as minimizes the length of time required to complete the screenings and presents less possibility for safety issues by going offsite.
