I am passionate about the mind-body connection, its impact on our emotional, physical, psychological, and social well-being, and the importance of a regular self-care routine to maintain balance. I believe that the body speaks the mind, and through a psychosomatic approach, blending various limbs of yoga with counseling and psychoeducation, we can heal ourselves and achieve balance in our lives. My focus areas include mindfulness, family/group dynamics, trauma, inclusivity, self-care/self-love, and body positivity. I specialize in teaching meditation, yoga nidra, pranayama, and yoga for healthy aging, mental health, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder.I teach various yoga classes for Cone Health and the City of Greensboro as well as tailored one-on-one sessions and private group sessions in the comfort of your own home or studio setting through my private business, Liberate Yoga and Wellness. I also offer yoga classes and workshops for local businesses, churches, and other non-profits.
