CurrentExperienced Spanish educational interpreter proficient in facilitating effective communication between Spanish-speaking students, parents, and educators within educational environments.- Provide interpretation services between Spanish and English for Spanish-speaking students and parents in various educational settings, including classrooms, parent-teacher conferences, school events, and meetings.- Assist with the translation of educational materials, documents, and forms to support Spanish-speaking students and their families.- Interpret Individualized Education Program meetings and translate a variety of highly technical special education-related documents.- Assists parents and students in understanding Special Education department procedures, programs and District goals.- Make home visits to assist in the interpretation of educational programs and special education services and to encourage participation in the education process.
