In this position, I was also responsible for managing all of the content area leads for a specific state project.

As Department Chair, I assisted teachers that were placed on a plan of action by observing and modeling lessons. As the Acting Middle School Math Resource teacher, I spent much time developing and scoring district-wide assessments for grades 6 through 8 that were aligned with Maryland State Department of Education’s Voluntary State Curriculum. I was also a model instructor during the 2004 Mathematics Summer Academy. In addition, I attended the Maryland Assessment Groups annual conference as a participant to learn about the latest trends and research in Assessment and served on the Maryland State Department of Education Standards Setting Committee.
