Carrie was the Payroll Manager at Horizon Services for its 2,500+ team members and 22 East Coast locations in PA, NJ, CT, MA, MD, VA, GA, NC, FL and headquarters in Delaware. Directives include maintaining payroll information by designing systems; managing the collection, calculation, and entering of data. Updating payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in status, deduction variances, reconciliation, updating department and division transfers and overall payroll analysis. Horizon Services is the largest and most trusted residential plumbing, heating, air conditioning company in the area with over 25 years of business experience.

Responsible for payroll changes for 16,000 team members including multi state wage garnishments, direct deposits, pay cards, expense system management, wage statement creation, employment verifications and HR Hotline call acceptance.

Responsible for processing payroll for 1000 team members in 20 different locations. Included set up of new hires, payroll changes, benefit enrollment, COBRA administration, HIPPA compliance, and compensation.

Responsible for call center recruitment, employee relations, time clock uploads, payroll updates, HR education for managers, holiday bonuses, PTO accruals, LTD & STD claims, worker’s comp claims, and exit interviews

Responsible for day to day small business operations and procedures. Account manager for group of members and all accounting functions. Developed standards for the company’s client communication, statement assessment and newsletter. Worked as trade broker and as sales associate.
