Current. Provides individual therapy for adults with trauma, neurodivergence, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders and substance use disorders. Manages depression symptoms generally considering relationship issues including emotional abandonment and neglect, codependency, and trauma. Manages trauma, including mental, emotional and physical abuse, burnout, performance anxiety, and transitions such as marriage, divorce, childbirth and the loss of a loved one. Introduces clients to Dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma focused therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Uses culturally appropriate therapeutic approaches that support the BIPOC, Latino/Latina and LGBTQ+ identities. Incorporates trauma informed care for dissociation, trigger response and associations leading to unhealthy functioning. Practices CBT with those recovering from substance use disorders to find connections between thoughts, feelings and actions leading to increased awareness. Assists clients with cognitive and emotional processing through replacing and adapting cognitive, emotional and behavioral patterns that improve symptoms. Challenging behavior patterns that maintain or exacerbate distress related to anxiety, depression PTSD and OCD. Provides integrative treatments to allow for holistic attunement and attend to the body, brain, mind, and emotions. Incorporates art, body work, journaling, workbook practice and mindfulness techniques to regulate the nervous system. Clients experience greater relaxation, interpersonal effectiveness, attention control, working memory functioning and diminished distressing thoughts
