At Canadian Pacific I participated in SAP Time Management, US Payroll and US Year-end Activities. Leading the data gathering for both functions as well as completing functional configuration for Tax Reporter, including creating new tax companies and mapping the requirements for US Railroad Tax reporting. I also worked to understand and document how the railroad industry has to report the yearly RRB Taxes from a compliance standpoint. I spent many hours working side by side with the business to ensure we were gathering and reporting information accurately and completely. Additional work:Completing Security updates for both business and functional analyst roles.Communicating work between the business and 3rd party contract resources who were assisting in the workload.Ensuring test documents were accurate and complete with appropriate regression testing before moving changes through the landscape.Prioritizing workload based on user impact and criticality of the work depending on governmental regulations or union requirements. Conducting workshops with the business users to document complete requirements, with examples, of how the end result should work for any changes being introduced for groups of employees.
