Worked full-time for three consecutive summers and part-time in the summer of 2008. Responsible for two children, a girl and boy, ages 5 and 8. Duties included managing each child’s schedule, making meals, providing transportation for both kids and their play-buddies, arranging play-dates with other families, setting-up and participating in various crafts and games, taking field trips to local zoos, aquariums, landmarks, and libraries to learn while having fun. Easily adapted to constantly changing schedules. Dealt with sibling conflict issues rationally while helping them learn compromise.

Worked in the Child-Life department. Provided a fun and safe environment for both sick kids and their families. Strongly adhered to the strict sanitation, safety, and social guidelines in the playroom and rooms of individual patients. Aided in comforting and supporting both kids and adults regarding their child’s or sibling’s illness.
