Maintain strong working relationships with City and County government leaders, LAUSD, L.A. County Office of Education, and First 5 LA.• Co-convene the LAUSD Community Schools Steering Committee, supporting the launch of 20 pilot schools.• Partner with First 5 LA on the development of a common School Readiness Assessment across L.A. County school districts.• Lead grant writing and donor stewardship to manage a ~$600k annual budget.• Lead a team of 10+ internal staff and external partners who collectively convene 17 cross-sector working groups focused on improving student outcomes.• Lead collaborative effort to improve foster youth access to paid work experiences in L.A. County, resulting in an increase from 80 youth in 2012 to 800 in 2016. Secured a $250k CA Workforce Accelerator Grant in 2018 to engage the 7 workforce boards in L.A.
