After 21 years of working side by side with my mentor Hal Cowie, I took over Kingston Paint and Decorating at the end of 2014 just prior to us changing locations and to Hal's retirement. Kingston Paint is primarily a paint store at this time though we do also offer custom window treatments. In the late 90's and early 2000's we had one of the largest instock wallpaper selections in Eastern Ontario.We are a full line dealer of Benjamin Moore, Para and Proluxe (Sikkens) with 5000 square feet of retail and warehouse space. In 2021, to keep our differentiated product offering, we partnered with two Canadian paint manufacturers and launched our private label paint line Kingston Paint Collection. Kingston Paint Collection currently boasts two exterior stains, a full line of interior and exterior primers as well as two interior lines. We plan to further expand the line in 2022 to include exterior paints, clear floor finishes and floor paints. We pride ourselves on our customer service, our paint knowledge and our colour matching skills. The other thing we take pride in is our continuing support of local food banks, charities, minor sports teams and local schools. Our loyal customers allow us this opportunity to give back to our community and other than my family, there is little that is more important to me.
