During my employment at Quex Park, my main duties have included overseeing all property rentals, using Interprise, Key Property & Key Accounts software, Health & Safety documentation and procedures, promotional & marketing Activities and being the main point of contact for all tenants, contractor’s and independently run businesses on the park. I am also the main point of contact for all event orgainisers and am site representative on event days. I have shown excellent communication skills across all sectors along with implementing procedures to improve efficiency within the business. I have analysed costs to minimise expenditure where possible along with securing new events and implementing accurate rental increases to maximise income.

I started working at Quex Museum Enterprises as a waitress on a casual contract but after a short while, I displayed skills that lead me to become the Assistant Bar & Catering Supervisor quite quickly. As part of this role, I also conducted wedding viewings and helped plan the wedding day from the ceremony, to reception drinks, service of the wedding breakfast & then of course the evening receptions. Within this position, my duties included:Staff rotas, staff management, stock ordering, rotation & auditing, cash handling, wedding viewings & bookings, implementing Health, Safety & Hygiene procedures, record keeping and as a key holder, I was responsible for ensuring the security of the building on a day to day basis. Working in a kitchen, bar and wedding & function environment can be very high paced and busy, so I was able to show the ability to work well under pressure, plan the day and staffing requirements well, manage time and staff correctly to ensure that all plans were carried out to a high standard, along with communicating & reporting to my supervisor at all times.
