A creative-minded individual with varied experience in the customer service and hospitality fields looking to return to an art-centered work environment.I began my career in the arts field managing public art projects. I worked directly with the artists, administrators and construction contractors on multiple projects in varying stages of completion. When in the planning stages of a project, I would focus on the details to help me understand how best to result in a smooth process from design and fabrication all the way to installation. My ability to keep lines of communication open and friendly built a cohesive relationship between the artist and other parties related to the construction, resulting in a number of successful projects.My ability to focus on the details of each project has served me throughout my professional career in customer service and hospitality. Remembering details during a conversation with a customer can build a relationship and their trust in my ability to assist them. When dealing with conflict resolution, I like to bring my thoughts to fellow team-members to better think through options. I am open to any ideas relating to a positive customer experience.I have also spent time learning how to teach in the fields of fly fishing and knitting - two of my hobbies. The skills needed for teaching the technical processes of these fields requires patience, dedication to continue learning new techniques and a focus on the success of the client.
