I hail from the state of Penang and credit my love for cooking to my dad who is an amazing chef with a natural flair for dishing up meals that is traditional with a modern twist. I was the Head Chef at Tiki Taka restaurant and bar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia serving Asian inspired pintxos and tapas for almost 7 years. Under my stewardship, Tiki Taka won Best New Restaurant at the prestigious Malaysia Tatler T Dining Best Restaurants in Malaysia Awards 2018 and Best Restaurant in 2019 and 2020.I was also featured as a coach on 3 episodes of Baba’s & U, a reality T.V show, Versus 1001 Rasa Baba's Season 2. The show was aired on Malaysia’s National TV3.In 2019, I went to London and Manchester to cook for the Manchester City Football Club in collaboration with Wolf Blass. I currently helm the kitchen at Ola Lina, an online food delivery and coffee subscription platform.
