Throughout her career, Allison Nicholas has collaborated extensively with leaders from industry, higher education institutions, and non-profit organizations to address pipeline resource challenges. Her work experience includes leading recruiting efforts for Metova Strategies LLC and First Orion, as well as overseeing college recruiting and university relations at Acxiom Corporation and ALLTEL. Her roles have allowed her to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies, manage full-cycle recruiting processes, and support diversity and inclusion initiatives.Nicholas's approach to work is characterized by strategic planning, clear communication, and a collaborative and friendly spirit. She is dedicated to creating positive and inclusive work environments and she is skilled at partnering with teams to achieve recruitment goals.Nicholas has served in a number of leadership roles at the national, state and local level with such organizations as NACE, SWACE/SOACE and AACE. Recently serving as the President of the Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers (AACE). Nicholas served on the Arkansas Governor's Task Force for Computer Science and Cyber Security. She served as a founding member of Ecofest and also on the executive boards of the Arkansas Academy of Computing, Arkansas STEM Coalition and the Faulkner County Humane Society. Nicholas is an active community volunteer in Conway, Arkansas, where she resides. She is a native of Wrangell, Alaska.Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, fostering animals and participating in local art walks and attending music concerts. She enjoys taking short getaways with family and friends. These activities help her return to work with renewed energy and a fresh perspective.Nicholas is always open to connecting with fellow professionals and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
