This leads to new policy formation and implementation as well as evaluation where appropriate. We encourage our participants to use a variety of tactics and tools to move a positive agenda forward for the greater good, including advocating their positions publicly, attempting to educate supporters and opponents, and mobilizing allies on a particular issue.Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the efforts of others, towards the achievement of a goal. Our participants receive leadership development and training as a strategy to better engage and influence policy makers as well as the citizenry on behalf of critical public policies that may need to be changed on behalf of the community.'
