•Book, manage and execute an average of 20-35 weddings, meetings, conventions, golf tournaments, and special events per month•On target to reach catering revenue goal for 2014 ($650,000.00)•Qualify and respond to all incoming leads•Proactively develop new event opportunities through strategic sales, promotional, and marketing initiatives. Create and distribute marketing materials and promotional materials. •Work directly with client to plan the scope and format of the event. Identify space requirements and audio visual needs, determine food and beverage requirements, special needs required, permits required, security, parking, transportation, and event objectives•Plan, organize and coordinate all internal services associated with events including the input of events into event management software, reserving audio visual components, creating signage for the event, presentation of promotional materials, printing requirements, and requesting meeting materials•Collaborate with venue staff as necessary to discuss event details and client expectations. Generate and distribute event orders to staff as required. •Establish and monitor event quotes and update as necessary- create and balance budgets •Act as a liaison between clients, banquet services, outside vendors, and all other operational departments within the club•Monitor events to ensure compliance with food and beverage licenses, applicable regulations and laws, confirm pertinent permits have been obtained•Manage the billing process for catering events including the collection of all scheduled deposits and administering final invoices•Member- Meeting Planner International and Glendale Chamber of Commerce. Attend seminars, wedding shows, community events, and industry related events in order to network and promote venue. Host community mixers and wedding shows to drive awareness and showcase property
