Acting as chief of staff to the Global Private Equity Practice Leader, I oversaw a multi-year plan to augment the performance of the Practice. To realize that plan, I defined global processes and executed or directed short- and medium-range global and regional projects. I focused heavily on building capabilities and networks to broaden the impact of the Practice, including mentoring PE researchers in North America, Europe, and Asia, and advising a global group of consultants and researchers on business development, client project execution, and account management for private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies.

As an Associate, I led research teams and processes for regional and global client projects in the Sustainability, Consumer, Industrial, and Public & Social Sector practices. I designed and executed the strategy to identify candidates, guided the work of junior and peer researchers, supervised the development of client materials, and facilitated team dynamics. Beyond ensuring the integrity of the research process, I gathered insights on individuals, companies, and sectors and validated ideas through conversations with external sources. I also developed candidates, whom I assessed, benchmarked, and presented to clients in partnership with project leaders. As an Analyst (2011-2012) and then an Associate (2013-2014), I executed more than 70 client projects and contributed to more than 100 business development leads.In addition to executing client projects and business development pitches, I recruited, trained, and mentored associates, analysts, and interns across Egon Zehnder’s 11 offices in the United States and served as the Global Sustainability Practice Specialist and the North America Public & Social Sector Practice Specialist. As the Global Sustainability Practice Specialist, I partnered with the Practice Leader on business development, thought leadership initiatives, and improving the firm's sustainability practices and profile. In my specialist roles, I also led complex, stakeholder-intensive client projects.

As a member of the Governance Department, I managed relations between USGBC's senior employees and its 30-person board of directors and board committees, and helped to ensure that the board met its fiduciary, strategic, and leadership duties. Doing so involved serving as a special assistant to the board chair, advising the broader executive committee, establishing agendas and coordinating speakers and materials for meetings, managing action items, and networking with employees in USGBC's 11 departments.

During a period of high growth for USGBC products and services, I advised institutional and individual clients on USGBC’s educational offerings across the United States and prepared educators and volunteers to deliver seminars in the Central and Southern U.S. regions. Later, I also assumed the lead role in converting private seminar leads, developing a new revenue stream and increasing seat availability in our often sold-out public seminars. In addition, I led SAP training for the Education department and on-boarding of other Education Associates.
