As a Melt Shop Metallurgist I have hands on experience working with the electric arc furnace, ladle metallurgy, vacuum degasser, and continuous billet/bloom caster. Most of my time is spent on improvement projects such as Six Sigma and routine management of specific key performance indicators. I work with the core team in the Melt Shop to develop processing steps and ways to improve our product.
