As a professional speaker and a writer, I have a passion for sharing my stories and insights on LGBTQ+ mental health and empowerment. I have spoken at multiple conferences, universities, and companies such as SalesForce, Legal Zoom, Addepar Inc., and West Chester University where I inspired and educated audiences on topics about releasing the things we carry, to show up closest to our truest selves. I am also the creator of BLOCK, a film that explores the invisible "weight" of coming out on an LGBTQ+ persons mental health. The film has won several awards including: Outstanding Achievement Award, Best Picture, Grand Jury Award, Best Short Film Drama, and more. It has been featured in several film festivals and media outlets, and has received positive feedback from viewers and critics. Through my film, I aim to raise awareness and spark conversations on the issues that LGBTQ+ people face, as well as to use the coming out story a catalyst for all people to explore their own "Blocks" in their lives. My passion comes from my deep love for transformative storytelling, but my drive comes from 10 years soaking in shame in the closet. I blend humor, storytelling, psychology and film to help people accept their Blocks, and live their lives. My skills in writing, presenting, and storytelling are just means to an end- that end being the day where every person born in this world never has to question their self worth, based on who they love.
