PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:I have extensive experience working in a variety of accounts roles within the property sector. Most recently, this has been focused on residential property, particularly dealing with service charges in block management.In addition to the client and service charge accounting responsibilities, my work with service charges has included projects reviewing lease requirements and auditing property management databases to ensure that service charge recoveries are being properly undertaken in accordance with the contractual obligations, as well as reconciling every aspect of a funds accounts. At times this would include preparing for and attending First-Tier Tribunals (Property Chamber); negotiating with clients and lessees; and reviewing database migration records to ensure accuracy.I also have further experience of working with commercial property accounts in client accounting, credit control and accounts receivable/payable contexts.My experience of working for a high street law firm as a paralegal/fee earner required me to liaise with current and potential clients; provide support to solicitors; issue proceedings; draft briefings to counsel, particulars of claim, witness statements, correspondence, commercial contracts and advice on property matters. I worked on housing disrepair cases, insurance recoveries, personal injury claims, contract and property disputes, and probate enquiries.I have worked extensively on the Tramps, Horizon, APB-Yardi, MUS and Propman property management databases, and have experience of ECS Qube, as well as using Excel and other MS Office application to an advanced level.
