During my time at Susquehanna University, some relevant courses are Luxury Brand Marketing and Management, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Global Logistics and Supply Chain.My primal experiences related to my career goals have been my Merchandise and Control internship at the TJ Maxx Pittston Distribution Center. It was this opportunity that solidified my love for problem-solving and communicating with others to improve productivity. Additionally, I have numerous luxury brand work experiences from three varying countries and cultures. My first international encounter was with a luxury haircare brand, SILKElondon, where I worked remotely as a social media marketing intern in London, UK. During my seasonal sales associate position at COACH Outlet, I took comfort in working within my native work culture and often queried about the beginning life stages of COACH products. Predominantly working on the sales floor, I loved interacting and assisting clients to find their perfect COACH product. During my semester abroad, I completed a luxury brand marketing internship for a 5-star hotel, Hotel Mediterraneo, in Sorrento, Italy. A major accomplishment I achieved during this internship was a detailed market research report including market segmentation positioning maps for the Hotel's event management team. My greatest challenge was working and communicating within the Italian work culture, which is very different from my own American culture.As a communicator, I can be defined as assertive because I am task-focused and an individual thinker. I possess the ability to communicate my own needs, desires, ideas, and feelings, while also considering the needs of others. I prefer to work within teams because I problem-solve best when bouncing ideas off others.If I could compose my dream career, I would be working with the supply chain for an international luxury brand and supplying products between the United States and Italy. I aspire to one day allocate or distribute the products of luxury brands that connect to clients, uplift their spirits, and fulfill their personal values as many luxury products are made to do. In entirety, I am a very driven individual and would love to work hard and enhance my luxury career.
