As the Office Manager at La Ventana's Outpatient Treatment center, I have a rather multifaceted position. I lead and facilitate groups that teach various coping strategies and therapeutic skills rooted in the frameworks of Acceptance and Commitment based Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also facilitate meals for our patients with eating disorders, by completing pre-/post-meal groundings, redirecting behavior when necessary, noting and reporting any eating disorder behaviors, and by offering support. I provide transport to and from program for patients in need of rides, and accompany clients on weekly outings. All staff-client interactions require a detailed note-taking procedure, which is then reported to the client's treatment team and uploaded to the company database.I am also in charge of completing all admin work relevant to our location, such as updating our daily census, scheduling clients, tracking attendance and client payments, and reporting authorizations from insurance. I am responsible for all admission and discharge procedures, and for filing and uploading all client-relevant information into our company database. On a daily basis, I communicate back-and-forth with other departments company-wide to ensure that all information is up to date. Our Santa Barbara location treats individuals struggling with eating disorders, as well as general mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and OCD.

The Resident Advisor fulfills the assigned role as a part of the treatment team, maintaining the well-being of clients and integrity of the program. I facilitated various therapeutic groups, and provided client supervision as assigned, such as walking clients through meal time by leading pre- and post-meal groundings.

As a member of the health and wellness team at Crystal Stokes - Authentic Freedom, I work to establish connections, schedule speaking engagements, and build relationships with local, health-related companies and nonprofits via social media outreach and other marketing efforts. Crystal Stokes is a life coach, therapist, exercise and nutrition specialist, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and lead coach of Crystal Stokes - Authentic Freedom.

By working at Miss Behavin' clothing boutique in Isla Vista, I was able to enhance my customer service skills and also exercise my creative energy with my eye for design.

Works directly to enhance the wellbeing of local transitional age youth who are working towards self-sufficiency and independence from the foster care system. As an assistant to the Department of Grants and Development at UCSB, I worked directly with sensitive information regarding donors to the school, as well as specific campus technology/programs used to store donor activity and history.

As a research assistant, I conducted research studies involving other students and recorded/reported data to the Social Emotions lab at UCSB. Studies involved a range of topics, including various subliminal biases and attachment theory.
