I stumbled into business and digital marketing without even realizing it. My business journey started with buying and manually refurbishing Gopros in my early high-school years. After my first year, I reached the "Platinum" power seller title(<$75,000/mo in sales), which at the time, I was proud of considering all the late nights, planning, and implementation. eBay even sent me a dorky power seller Shirt that you could have caught me rocking every day to school. *FacepalmIn my senior year of high school, I took everything I had learned from running my eBay store and jumped over to Shopify. With this transition, I quickly learned that running a Shopify store was a different beast. I realized that I was now competing against eCommerce stores worldwide and that I needed to take my marketing to the next level to be successful. After countless hours of learning web design, consumer psychology, funnel building, and different marketing strategies, I grew multiple Shopify stores to over half a million store sessions with an average ROAS of 3-5x consistently. My days consisted of going to sleep at 1 am and jumping out of bed at 7:30 to check the store's sales, then heading off to WWU while listing to eCommerce podcasts in my car.Fast forwarding to today, I am a Western Washington University graduate with a double major in marketing and finance. In the last couple of years, I have taken a step back from running eCommerce stores and started Flying Start Marketing. Flying Start is a marketing agency helping many businesses in the Seattle Metropolitan Area reach their business goals through tailored growth solutions. Taking my previous skills from years past and using them to help other companies reach their full potential has been exciting as each day is something new with different problems to solve. Not only that, but I get to meet and work with many passionate people and companies going against the grain to create products or services that people love and incorporate into their daily lives.When I am not eyeballs deep in analytics and marketing strategies, you can find me at numerous Bitcoin conventions, snowboarding, rock climbing, or enjoying some of the hidden treasures of the Pacific Northwest.I am always seeking out new opportunities and meeting new people.
