Pelorus launched at the back end of 2017 after identifying key areas in the experiential travel and superyacht expedition markets. Prior to forming Pelorus with Geordie, Jimmy spent the last couple of years as Head of Marketing and Communications for the design studio Winch Design, a world-leader in superyachts, private aviation and architecture. His inherent understanding of the UHNW & HNW market, particularly in the superyacht market offers a unique insight and guides Pelorus into new terrorities. Before joining Winch he took a role with Manchester United as their Global Tour Manager, looking after both the commercial and logistical elements of MUFC tours. The precursor to this was his appointment as Expedition Manager for Xtreme Everest 2; the largest ever medical-research expedition conducted on Mount Everest. The foundations of the last six years were built upon his career in the British Army where he served in a formation reconnaissance regiment and deployed to Iraq in 2006, Afghanistan in 2008 and 2012, and awarded gallantry awards for both of his Afghan tours. The years between operational tours he was appointed aide de camp to Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff (Operations).
