Civil Engineer working in residential land development, and enjoying every minute of it!Preparing improvement plans for residential subdivisions is a team effort, and it has been my pleasure to work alongside intelligent, creative, and dedicated people for almost five years now. I find myself challenged and creatively fulfilled by the unique constraints of each project. I aim for perfect, settle for the best I can do, and count every setback as a lesson learned for the future.I have recently acquired my license as a Professional Engineer in Nevada. I am proficient in Civil3D and like to experiment with different workflows in the interest of efficiency. I particularly enjoy site planning and grading design - if only my younger self, digging moats in the backyard, could see me now! Most of my work to date has been in the master-planned communities around Lake Las Vegas. It’s been very satisfying to build relationships with local homebuilders and see the design work I’ve done translated into construction. As I’ve built a solid foundation of technical skill, I have been given consistently increasing opportunities to assist in project management and direct work. I’m deeply grateful. Every step gives me the confidence I need to take on more responsibility and develop my career. I look forward to it!
