A multi-award winning television producer (three BAFTA nominations, two Royal Television Society awards). I have worked for all Britain’s major broadcasters, creating and producing primetime shows for 20 years. In 1999, I produced the BBC’s first drama especially commissioned for daytime. Doctors still airs, stripped five days a week across the year. I began as a newspaper journalist, eventually working for Britain’s top selling tabloid, The Sun. I entered television as a presenter of ITV’s flagship current affairs show, Eyewitness, travelling the world as the programme’s investigative reporter. Later I moved behind the camera to produce and direct hundreds of hours of primetime television, both factual and drama, including The Bill, Doctors, The Afternoon Play, Dream Team, 999, How Do They Do That? and Strange But True?
