Passionate Software Developer with a proven track record of delivering solutions in both large enterprises and startups. I am very involved at my university, NDSU, where I have served as Treasurer for two years in the Association of Computing Machinery, and spent two years being an Engineering Ambassador for the school. Additionally, I participated in undergraduate research that involved taking LIDAR data and creating a Sliding Window application for researchers. I have participated and excelled in multiple programming competitions, winning NDSU's own Byte-le Royale in my freshman year, along with placing high in Mechmania, ICPC, and soon to be Digikey. I pride myself on my extensive knowledge about computers - even outside of programming - and I run my own home server (and administer company servers), along with suites of applications in Azure, AWS, and other Cloud hosting services. Artificial Intelligence has played a big part of my life, since I have been training/fine-tuning LLM's with pytorch, using RAG/Graph RAG and leveraging frameworks like Autogen and Microsoft Bot Framework SDK. Through my job, I have obtained lots of experience deploying with Docker and maintaining services, pods, and controllers with Kubernetes (both local and with Azure). Outside of my system admin experience, I have lots of experience building backends (Fiber, FastAPI, Django) and frontends (Vite + React + TS, Svelte) and connecting them together with third party APIs. Through working at my own startup and at BringCorp, I have learned how to effectively combine my experience with technology with my strong ability to communicate.
