Perform duties as a Protective Services Detail Member for the US Department of State at the Regional Reconstruction Team, Erbil Iraq. Assigned as a lead driver, follow driver, TC, and AIC on a daily basis in order to complete multiple PSD missions. Coordinate with principals on upcoming moves to confirm meeting times and pick up locations. Ensures close protection of the principal at all times while on venue and during motorcade operations. Perform Tactical Site Surveys (TSS) on possible venues to ensure the safety of PSD members and principals while visiting the venue. Maintain vehicles by performing PMCS, ensuring that all parts are functional and ready for the day. Act as a Tactical Standby Team to support movements within the city of Erbil, Iraq.

Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required for use by State Department High Threat Operations office. Prepare Daily Mission Report (DMR) as required for submission to RSO High Threat Iraq. Ensure mission related documentation received from Security Protective teams are accurate and concise. Maintain the accountability of sensitive items provided to Security Protective Teams and responsible for the preparation of accountability templates for the Tactical Operations Center. Maintain the daily operations log for Department of State Diplomatic missions for the Regional Reconstruction Team, Regional Technical Institute and Provisional Reconstruction Team in the Northern Iraq region. Maintain venue lists and Tactical Site Survey venue packets for all authorized sites visited by State Department / RRT / RTI / PRT personnel. Responsible for all communications between protective details, RSO Air, Baghdad TOC, and Higher while the protective teams are on mission. Inform Operations Chief, Detail Leader, DynCorp management and RSO staff of operational issues and recommendations on a daily basis. Monitor CCTV to controled access areas. Furnish escorts for all unclearpersonnel.

Conducted numerous Personal Security missions in Ar Ramadi, Iraq for a period of one year. Escorted the EOD personnel to the site and provided mounted and dismounted security throughout Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Dismounted security for EOD was creating a bubble to protect the EOD member while he or she disarmmed the divices. Provided Personal Security for Psychological Operations personnel in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Provided security while traveling mainly in mounted missions down routes for over six months. Psychological operation members road in our motorcades, while in our motorcade we provided security for the entire mission and all Psychologiacal operation members. Performed tactical site surveys and reconnaissance missions on multiple venues as part of a scout sniper team. This consisted of photos and sketch's of building exterior's, to provide information to other combat units in the area of suspected target houses. Conducted search and seizure operations on resistance training facilities and successfully provided security for personnel transporting detainees. Conducted training with Special Operation Forces in close quarters combat (CQB) tactics, techniques and procedures. Conducted training in defensive driving using armored vehicles, perimeter security and hostage rescue. Trained on properly securing and searching a vehicle and the personnel inside the vehicle.
