I am currently a senior at Yadkin Early College and I will graduate in 2024. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Electrical Technologies at Surry Community College as well. When I graduate I plan to work as an electrician's assistant for a local contracting company, or as an Electrical technician for a bigger plant. The current work experience that I have right now is through Hibco Plastics in Moxville, NC. I have been working there for almost two years now, and my position is a material handler/machine operator. I deal with different types of insolation, glue guns, a variety of hand tools to perform maintenance on the machines if necessary, and different types of foam plastics.

  I work with a variety of different insolation, foam plastics, glue guns, cutting machines, and so on. All of these different aspects are incorporated into the job as needed and requested by our manager. We get assemble these materials to the specifications of the order and package them to be shipped off to the customer. When we complete all the work that is required we also use forklifts and pallet jacks to transport this material to the warehouse. Depending on if the machine needs maintenance, we might also be required to use different hand tools to perform maintenance on these machines as well.
