Sarge Property Management manages over 600 residential and commercial properties in the Bloomington, Ellettsville, and Spencer area. I oversee incoming and outgoing communications between Sarge Property Management, tenants, property owners, and inquiring residents. I am the first point of contact for incoming messages and ensure that tenant correspondences are received and forwarded, as needed, to correct departments. I coordinate with staff to schedule and conduct showings with prospective tenants. I am involved in the leasing process and perform various duties such as processing applications, initiating, reviewing, and processing credit inquiries, and ensuring prospective tenants meet our qualifications. I maximize organizational efforts to provide the best experience for all tenants by prioritizing and documenting issues and concerns with the maintenance staff for immediate responses.I possess strong transaction processing skills as demonstrated by my duties including receiving, accepting, and verifying payments as well as issuing accurate receipts for these transactions. A strict adherence to security and compliance ensures my accuracy and precision in these tasks.I consistently maintain a professional demeanor, understanding the importance of representing my company’s image positively. I am adept at working collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment.I run weekly and monthly reports over a broad range of focus topics such as Delinquencies, Vacancies, Leasing Status, and Interactions.

I purchased grocery items to complete orders made by customers. This included paying for items, handling returns or exchanges if they appeared and meeting the quality standards for my customers. I maintained accurate records for every order which included, tracking receipts, the cost of purchased items, and reporting discrepancies should they appear. I was consistently in communication with customers and helped them by responding to any inquires or concerns they had in a timely and professional manner. I followed a strict adherence to all Instacart guidelines and policies while performing all job duties. My professionalism and effective communication skills, as demonstrated in my interactions with customers, were pivotal in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

I worked primarily in the Flooring Department where I completed Details, expensive and tailored orders, and finalized sales typically no less than $1000. I communicated with customers to understand their needs; I matched them with the appropriate product based on their goals, quality sought, and budget adherence. I was cross trained in departments including Paint and Home Décor, and assisted several other departments when needed including Tools, Lumber, Mill Work, and Appliances. I took pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and delivered exceptional customer service while efficiently managing various departmental responsibilities including, but not limited to, stocking, zoning, sweeping the floors, cleaning the desks, taking out trash, processing returns, greeting every customer, and ensuring the needs of every customer were met.I was trained and certified to use power equipment like the electric pallet jack and cardboard baler. I completed customer service training emphasizing effective communication and problem-solving skills. I further developed my cross training abilities and my ability to handle diverse responsibilities making me adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments.I was awarded a Service Star for assisting a customer who spoke minimal English. She was seeking assistance in the Paint Department where the employees were unable to assist her. My manager was then called and also struggled to assist her. After I realized this customer was unable to communicate with staff, I stepped in and listened to the customer for a moment to try to understand what language she was speaking. I guessed that she was speaking Portuguese and so I opened my phone and used the Google Translate app. I guessed her language correctly and ultimately was able to help her find the product she was searching for and I was able to answer her questions.

Due to my ability to learn new skills quickly, and my prior experience at another Walmart location, I was trained in and performed duties for all three jobs within the department where I worked as a Picker, Stager, and Dispenser. Additionally, I was chosen as an Exception Picker. This role was fulfilled by approximately four individuals in a department of roughly 60 employees; to be selected for this role, I demonstrated an outstanding performance in the regular duties for a Picker such as ensuring that time spent on each item was as low as I could make it while prioritizing my accuracy rate. In this role, I fulfilled online orders by picking items directly from within the inventory stock. The management team actively recorded every employee’s pick rate and accuracy rate. These metrics had specific benchmarks and every week I met or exceeded these goals. As a Stager I organized high quantities of orders after they were picked and staged up to 30 orders per hour which included organizing products by temperature zone, location, and time of pickup.For the week starting July 17, 2022, I was awarded the Golden Pick Cart. This honor was given to the best picker in the department based on performance.

I worked with a graduate class comprised of international students who did not speak English as their primary language and who wished to become associate instructors at Indiana University Bloomington. I assessed their proficiency and mastery of the English language during the Test of English Proficiency for Associate Instructor Candidates (TEPAIC). Additionally, I worked with the students in this course where I met with them one-on-one once or twice a week. In these sessions, I offered a tailored learning experience to help each graduate student across a broad range of skills such as practicing certain vocabulary words, working on specific sound groupings, or simply practicing pronunciations. I also sat in during some of their class sessions and took notes and provided detailed feedback on their speaking and presentation skills.

I worked as a Picker and Dispenser within the department. As a Picker, I located and selected merchandise accurately for our customers. As a Dispenser, I organized large quantities of orders simultaneously and efficiently dispensed these orders to customers in a friendly and timely manner.Attention to detail was the name of the game and my ability to fulfill multiple orders per hour enabled me to maintain success in a fast-paced and productive work environment. My interactions with in-store customers reinforced my commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

I worked during the COVID-19 Pandemic as a substitute teacher in classrooms K-12. Due to the pandemic, I was with classes for one to two weeks at a time. I managed the classroom efficiently by encouraging student participation and minimizing distractions. There were times where I also developed my own lesson plans and created assignments consistent with the students’ regular teacher’s material.

I supervised the pool area and ensured that proper safety policies, guidelines, and procedures were followed. In the event of an emergency, I administered first aid, CPR, or rescued distressed or drowning guests. The most crucial part of this job was prevention.
