I received a promotion after one semester as an assistant due to work ethic and communication skills. Added tasks in this position have been training new employees, monthly meetings, and more responsibilities during shifts.

During my experience with this on-campus job I have been able to grow as a person and leader. My main job is to oversee patrons, manage equipment and memberships, and provide inputs for facility improvements.

During my semester-long internship I helped contribute columns about healthy living and community events to six different magazines around central Ohio, including my hometown Healthy New Albany magazine.

Over the course of my ten week internship, I was a contributor to Auto Finance News' daily operations, working to spearhead speaker posts, staffing shuffles and report on original stories for the largest flagship publication team in the automotive lending and leasing industry.

As a groundskeeper at the New Albany Country Club I raked the sand bunkers, rolled and maintained the driving range, fairways, and greens, weedwacked and trimmed the hazards, and much more.

I worked as a front desk receptionist and gym assistant. My main tasks were checking people in, charging for memberships and merchandise, cleaning the gym, and assisting members with anything they might need.

I was in charge of processing orders at the Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister headquarters. At the distribution center I shopped around aisles, pulling different quantities of a variety of clothing items off the shelves. I then put these on a conveyor belt so they can be shipped to the customers who ordered online.

I was in charge of unpacking various Victoria's Secret items, bagging and labeling them, and then repacking them into boxes that are shipped out for the company.

I assisted this event/farm venue by setting up and cleaning up our two venues for weddings and banquets.

For the second part of my senior seminar project I worked with my high school's Athletic Director and interviewed players and coaches. I then used this information to write team previews for our winter sports teams.

I worked at a bounce house place and helped host parties and events. My tasks include making sure the kids were bouncing safely, hosting big events, and cleaning the bounce rooms.

As part of my required senior seminar project I assisted a local radio company (98.9) that broadcasts central Ohio football games on the radio and online. I helped set up equipment, assisted the play-by-play commentators with callouts, conducted interviews, and studied notes and statistics. I was on the radio multiple times.

I had the opportunity to start my passion of sports writing at a young age. I wrote for an Ohio State fan website and my articles revolved around College GameDay, football predictions, player news, and basketball recaps.
