During this job I took on the main role of handling the maintenance needs for all of the rental properties. I would look at the service requests and determine the adequate tools and materials to complete the job. Many service calls would come in at a time and priority management skills were needed to ensure that the jobs were completed based upon the vitality of job. I handled a lot of communications with tenants and contractors. Many service calls would be beyond my skill level, so I would have to handle subcontracting the job out. I would handle the quoting of different companies and select the best company. After this I would handle the scheduling and assess their work prior to paying them after the job was to complete to make sure it met our company requirements. I really enjoyed working for Dan Willis Rentals and got offered an internship for the summer and immediately took it. During this internship, I kept all of my same roles I had in my pervious role of a maintenance manager but just took on an additional role. This role came with more work and responsibilities which was nothing I could not handle. During this role it was more office work than I had previously done.
