Faced with unexpected obstacles due to COVID, my partner and I pinpointed a need for a more effective approach to remotely manage quality data within the manufacturing sector. · Develop relationships with assigned clients through trading and execution services in the global equities and futures market. · Handle assigned client's inquiries and request on corporate actions and dividends. · Monitor credit risk and inform clients on account settlement outstanding and margin call.· Work closely with client's investment and research personnel; present research services and advising clients on investment opportunities.

Dealing Department (AUG 2016 to DEC 2016)· Rotated through 24-hours of shifts; exposure in the global equities and futures market. · Handle client’s inquiries and request for trade orders, margin call, corporate action, settlement activities. · Perform regular and ad-hoc tasks, including but not limited to global futures day-end process and system UATs. Equity Research Department (JAN 2016 to JUN 2016) · Prepare daily and monthly research reports for distribution to clients.· Conduct technical and fundamental analysis for daily research reports.· Particularly focus on tech/software industry. · Produce IPO factsheets on companies to be listed on HKEx for distribution to clients. Compliance Department (AUG 2015 to DEC 2015) · Undertake duties in internal control on license corporations held under the same umbrella of companies. · Handle regular and ad-hoc issues on AML and KYC process. · Liaison with internal parties and external parties, including but not limited to SFC’s general inquiries and Immigration Department’s CIES reporting. · Assist in licensing applications and notifications, including Type 1, 2, 4, 5, 9 and RO applications.
