After receiving my B.A. in History (minor in political science) from Weber State University, I began a career as a secondary history teacher. This experience helped me to develop strong interpersonal skills, become comfortable developing positive relationships with people I have little in common with, and develop necessary professional skills. Six years later, I decided to follow a dream deferred and begin a legal career. As a result, I am currently an incoming 2L at BYU's J. Reuben Clark School of Law. I am primarily interested in litigation, but am also open to transactional work. In truth, I am more focused on landing at the right firm than in a particular practice area, but I have interests in areas ranging from appellate law to employment law and estate law.
