Manage large scale structures on $3.2B High Speed Rail Project. Performs tasks related to the collection of cost data required to monitor project budget and estimates. Requires the selection and application of resource monitoring and control principles, techniques and technical knowledge of construction project. Meets with engineering team to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget. Reviews shop drawings design specifications, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance. Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling. Identifying risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule. Research historical data and productivity analysis reports in order to compile summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates. Oversee jobsite personnel and subcontractors on projects ranging from $800k - $9.7M. Planning and executing work schedules, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Working with Project Manager in the development and refinement of the project schedule, to keep the schedules properly updated, and see that the job meets the completion date.
