I am an epidemiologist and MS student in Data Analytics at Oregon State University, focused on leveraging biostatistics and data science to address pressing public health challenges, particularly in environmental health. My research, conducted in collaboration with Dr. Matthew Bozigar and Dr. Perry Hystad, explores community noise exposure in urban environments and its potential health implications. I am also involved in studying the association between environmental radon exposure and brain and central nervous system cancers.Beyond academia, I work as a consulting biostatistician with Samaritan Health Services, where I develop privacy-preserving record linkage methods. This work allows for the integration of electronic medical records with community organization data, advancing public health analyses and insights.With an MPH in Epidemiology and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics, I am passionate about applying statistical methods and data science techniques to improve environmental exposure assessments and optimize healthcare delivery.
