Hi, my name is Carson Murphy! I am currently a Senior at Texas Tech University pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. My journey in design began with a fascination with visual storytelling and creativity. The meshing of photography, typography, and color theory, is what makes me most excited for a project. Throughout my time in the Graphic Design program, I've discovered an apparent interest in the intersection of design and marketing. I started a Graphic Design position at Aligned by Design where I can learn about and explore effective communication of brand messages and engagement of audiences through different mediums. I think of a design like a person you're meeting for the first time. When you see a project or design for the first time, there are so many implications or a process under the surface, similar to the complexities within a person, but you get one first impression. You get to make that first impression whatever you desire it to be upon first meet. My long-term goal is to own my design firm as I have found a drive toward business administration while studying at Texas Tech.
