Established preventative maintenance strategies for operators to monitor the reliability of equipment.Organized training, guidance, and an SOP on the functions and operations of a Reboiler that decreases the temperature of extraction liquor and allows the digester to operate in jump flow.

Potential savings approximately $90,000 - $545,000 per year. Took ownership and monitored the mill’s TSS probe unit. I recalibrated, programmed a new alarm system, and composed SOP’s for the unit. Took leadership for a chemical trial to improve paper tests and reduce costs by decreasing the raw fiber input requirements and chemical usage.Lead audit teams to review current 5S areas and established new 5S areas in the mill.
