As a Summer Camp Counselor, I gained valuable experience in leadership, team collaboration, and problem-solving while working campers ages 7-15 and staff from all over the world. I was there each summer for 10 weeks working with a new group of kids every 2 weeks. My role involved planning and facilitating engaging activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and mentoring campers to foster their personal growth and teamwork skills. This position honed my communication abilities, adaptability, and organizational skills, equipping me with a strong foundation in managing dynamic situations and leading with empathy and enthusiasm.
