I have always loved the thought of helping people and sports. So why not put them together and learn to become a physical therapist? In my youth, I was injury prone and was in physical therapy a lot! While being in physical therapy I learned the background of what they do and why they chose to go into this profession. Talking with them sparked my interest in physical therapy, I have taken a sports medicine class, an intro to physical therapy class, and finally I am now interning with an out-patient physical therapy location. I am hoping to progress through this internship and get into physical therapy school. I will also be serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and wanting to continue helping wherever I get called in the world.

  My responsibilities in this job was to observe and set up equipment. During this apprenticeship I learned how to tape foot and ankles, finger and wrist splints, Estim (Electric Stimulation), and Ultrasound.
