As a game development intern at Carnegie Learning, I contributed to the development of MathStoria, an educational game aimed at making math engaging for elementary-grade students. My responsibilities included: • Prototyping innovative gameplay mechanics using Unity’s ECS and DOTS in C#, working with the design team to bring concepts from design to production. • Implementing smooth and responsive animations with state-based animation controllers. • Diagnosing and resolving complex bugs during beta phases to support successful product and feature releases.This role sharpened my skills in writing clean, reusable code, performance optimization, and debugging while allowing me to contribute to an impactful educational project with an incredibly kind, passionate and talented team of designers, artists, and programmers.
