I order, prep, and cook food for the Nashville community in a breakfast/brunch setting. Our menu is primarily egg-based, but I’ve never strayed away from trying to push the boundaries that we have for ourselves. At Steadfast, I’m in charge of the day-to-day logistics of our kitchen, such as ordering and conversing with upper management about changes to the infrastructure, flow, and items that our kitchen has to offer

My responsibilities included quick problem solving regarding the ebb and flow of seating in a fast-paced restaurant setting, packaging to-go orders, sending out food to tables, handling any customer complaints at the door, bussing tables, and training new hires to do all of the responsibilities listed above. Through a constant desire to push my limits, I quickly rose to being seen as the strongest host on the floor.

This job helped improve my customer service and time management skills. I boasted one of the fastest picking times in my department and was commonly the first pick for difficult runs due to my efficiency.

My first job where I mainly worked behind the counter as a cashier. I always strived for improvement in my work. I overall got a great reception from customers and coworkers alike for the time I was working there.
