Running a commuter train operation is like a carefully choreographed dance; everyone must know what moves to make and how to make them; otherwise, we both fail to move you. Assisting with teaching and training of the choreography is my passion, but before I could train others, I had to master it myself. Teaching and supervising this complex and changing choreography requires much knowledge and a particular set of skills. I can successfully teach the choreography because: -I focus on people and am attentive to their needs.-I pay attention to small details, such as changing rules to know how to pivot when needed.-I use continuous improvement principles to innovate and improve process management. This dance requires a lot of structure and strategy to make it look effortless, but at the end of the day, it’s about people, the people I serve, and the people we serve; we both have one goal: to move you.
