I managed AC and DC motors for GE Appliances, and lead the Global Commodity Council on motors for the entire Haier business. I initially supported Laundry, Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwasher, and Air Conditioning product lines. Sourcing strategy development including commodity/labor/currency market analysis. Negotiate contract language and pricing, as well as develop should cost models.

After a succesful stent in electronics specifically around IoT platforms, I added an additional $38 million of direct buy for PCBA (printed circuit board assemblies) supporting Laundry and Air Conditioner product lines. With a supply base in Asia and North America, I managed all aspects of the supplier relationship including quality, cost, and delivery metrics. I partnered extensively with our Technology and Product teams to ensure alignment of the sourcing strategy to meet our business needs. My depth in PCBA and electronic components was strengthened as I managed BOM's with 300+ components. I navigated $13 million of tariffs and executed business award for $60 million of business across 3 Haier companies. I signed 4 multi-year global supply agreements while in this role.

I supported the SmartHome Solutions product and technology teams as a combinationj of a buyer and program manager. With minimal electronics engineer background, I quickly versed myself in the commodity to support the launch of the current generation of WiFi for GE Appliances. This helped me to gain deep knowledge in both PCBA and electronic components. Through this, I reduced the cost of WiFi by 70%, which empowered GE Appliances to increase annual usage from 100k to 1,000k in just 1 year. I managed $5 million dollars of buy. Additionally, I worked with multiple companies on a blend of partnerships and indirect vendors. I closed a deal to execute Scan to Cook platform for GE Appliances.
