• Perform various public relations functions (these may include: receiving telephone and personal callers, ascertaining the nature of the request, answering inquiries or referring callers to appropriate person; and disseminating information (oral and written) to the press, lobbyists, other staff, constituents and others.)• Reads and routes incoming and outgoing mail, reviews mail with supervisor • Takes, transcribes and types letters, memos, reports and legislation related materials• Performs a variety of constituent services (these may include: answering constituent inquires by phone or mail; handling constituent complaints; and hosting constituent groups when visiting the Capitol)• Maintains confidential correspondence, subject matter and legislative bill files• Maintains the supervisor’s calendar• Maintain black books and bill books during session

Responsibilities and Duties: - Assist in recruitment, training, and shifting of Poll Watchers - Attend events for recruitment and relationship-building - Conduct virtual and in-person Poll Watcher trainings - Recruit and monitor the hiring process of Republican Poll Workers - Research state election law and procedures - Draft documents and presentations for external use - Build working relationships with key party officials and grassroots leaders - Submit weekly reports to the State Director on metrics - Assist State Director as needed
