I am currently learning skills such as wet layup for fiberglass parts and vacuum bagging for composites. I am getting a grasp on part production from the raw materials all the way to the order being shipped.To expand my knowledge of aerodynamics, I am fiddling around with software such as XFLR5, XFoil, & Profili.

Gained hands-on experience in metal fabrication, machining operations, and machinery operation. Worked alongside experienced engineers and students to fabricate components for various research and for profit projects. Focused on the engineering process, interpreting drawings, and collaborating with team members to ensure project quality and deadlines were met.Key responsibilities:-Operated large pieces of machinery such as press brakes and metal punchers in a safe and efficient manner.-Followed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.-Operated forklifts and Bobcat skid steers to move and manipulate objects around the ERC.-Took in as much knowledge as I could on every aspect relevant to the job, from woodworking and cabinetry to operation of industrial scale water supply systems.

Through the Scott Undergraduate Research Experience program I was paired up with a faculty mentor in the systems engineering department. I soon was integrated into a team that was tasked on developing a "Truck-In-A-Box". By taking all the computers and controllers from a commercial vehicle and packaging them in a single box allows us to have essentially a truck in a box. We can feed this "truck" recorded, false, or live data. This being a useful tool in vehicle crash forensics and vulnerability testing, we can see what happened, what was seen on the instrument cluster, and what could have been done and what effect it would've had. I was tasked as being the go to guy for all things brakes. I completed online Bendix Commercial Air Brake Training online and became familiar with product data sheets very fast. I continued my research by learning how to populate and also de-pin various types of automotive connectors. I am now confident with commercial air brake systems and basic wire harness production.
