As a generalist engineer, I have capabilities in software architecture and development, embedded hardware and firmware, iOS app development, project management and game development. I enjoy making products that are fun to use and I’m creative in the design and build process. I'm particularly interested in sustainable energy, any type of R&D, biotech, EVs, Internet of Things (IoT), personal robots, entertainment, or anything that includes a mix of hardware, software, firmware and system level development — especially if it involves pioneering something new.I love pre-production prototyping, working with motors, sensors and displays, writing bare metal firmware and making killer iOS apps (64 so far)! Designed (and received patent for) 3D machine vision system for golf club measurement and bending machine for TaylorMade.Wrote the firmware for a tiny human-implantable alcohol sensor for the National Institutes of Health. Created unique networked multicolor LED outdoor lighting system. Developed video games Road Rash for Sega CD, Courier Crisis for Sega Saturn and SONY Playstation game consoles. Created Top-Word - a fun word game for iOS.My hobbies include playing / composing piano, restoring classic arcade machines and being relentlessly curious about how the universe works.
