With over 10 years of experience in research and development of multifunctional coatings and printing processes, I am a passionate and driven group manager at Fraunhofer IPA, one of the leading institutes for applied research in Europe. My mission is to create and apply cutting-edge technologies that enhance the performance, functionality, and sustainability of materials and products. I have a master's degree in business and engineering in logistics management, which enables me to combine technical expertise with strategic and operational skills. I am also a nanotechnology and materials science expert, with a strong background in synthesis, functionalization, and application of nanocarbon materials. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and I strive to contribute to the advancement of science and society through my work.As the group manager of application technology at Fraunhofer IPA, I lead a team of researchers and engineers in developing production processes for multilayer and multifunctional coatings, using various printing and coating techniques and new materials. Some of the projects I have been involved in include structured silver-nanowire and nanocarbon based coatings for touchscreens, sensors, and heating systems; coatings based on 2D materials such as graphene and hexagonal boron nitride; printed sensors and actuators for human-machine interfaces; and processes for printing of electro-active polymers. I have also been responsible for the application and implementation of international collaborative projects, the evaluation and support of funding opportunities for small and medium enterprises, and the development and protection of multiple patents. I have demonstrated skills in materials science, nanotechnology, research and development, project management, and communication.
Listed skills include R&D, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Nanomaterials, and 5 others.
