Hi, I am Carsten. Over the last +16 years I have specialised in Sustainability, ESG and Modern Slavery. My projects include the largest Australian companies, incl. the Australian Catholic Anti-slavery Network (a network of 50 entities f.ex. St. Vincent’s Health Australia), Downer EDI, Virgin Australia, Woolworths as well as global businesses Toyota, Maersk, DB Schenker etc.I have managed projects from scoping through to BaU, incl. Strategy development and deployment, Change management, Stakeholder Management, Business Case, Teams, Quality, Planning, Risk, Change and Progress. I am also the person who:- Found children hidden in a stairwell in a factory, shoved out of the way, while the factory was being shown off to overseas visitors (me & my team).- Attended a factory where an entire room full of ‘consultants’ were working to produce fake records for the audit next day by a multinational entertainment company (themeparks, TV channels, etc.) - Remediated a case where a factory owner wanted to deposit his workers salary to an ATM inside his gated factory, in a non-banking ATM, controlled by him, with the excuse that the workers money was safer with him than with them.- Identified that the place of production for a product was in fact a prison. My experience is real, not gleaned from a case study, and not just a profile embellishment from the trend of the day. I do real solutions, not ivory tower developed solutions.Working with projects in Australia, Denmark, China and HK, my experience taught me that projects are often challenged due to Scoping, Identifying the right enablers, Managing expectations, Engaging with stakeholders and the Change management approach. Some of my achievements are:•Delivering the Australian Catholic Anti-slavery Network Sustainable Procurement Risk Management Program to 50 entities with $26Bn in turnover and $8Bn in procurement spend.•Programme Managed Large Multinational Supplier Compliance project, applying cutting edge data analytics to understand underlying issues.•Lead capacity building project implementation at +2500 Factories with +125,000 staff •Author of published books (‘Red Flag’ ISBN 978-0-9943991-9-9 and ‘Roadmap to Modern Slavery Compliance and a Sustainable Supply Chain’ ISBN 978-0-9943991-1-3)My Skills:Sustainability Strategy, Compliance & GovernanceESG consulting, evaluation & ratingProject & Change ManagementBusiness Development Greenfield EstablishmentTeam LeadershipContact me: +61 413 089 020 / Carsten.primdal@gmail.com
